EdTech Ireland and GDPR: We only hold information requested from you in order to send you the publication/ information described or to administer an advertised event. We treat your information as confidential, hold it securely and will never pass it on to third parties. The exception is our Members database which complies with data protection regulations.

 

The basis for processing this data is defined by GDPR regulations as contractual/consent/legitimate interest. If you are a Supporter, you can request to see the data that we hold on you at any time and we will remove you from our systems and discontinue contact at your request:  If you now longer wish to be a Member of EdTech Ireland simply email member@edtechireland.ie and mark your email 'Unsubscribe'.

We receive, collect and store any information you enter on our website or provide us in any other way. In addition, we may collect the Internet protocol (IP) address used to connect your computer to the Internet, your e-mail address and name. When you subscribe to our mailing list on our website, as part of the process, we collect personal information you give us such as your name and email address. Your personal information will be used for the specific reasons stated above only.

Our website is hosted on the Wix.com platform. Wix.com provides us with the online platform that allows us to publish our website and provide services to you. Your data may be stored through Wix.com’s data storage, databases and the general Wix.com applications. They store your data on secure servers behind a firewall.

How do we communicate with our site visitors?
